DirectAccess Connectivity Assistant is available

 

The recent Windows Cumulative Update seems to be breaking previously active connectivity with Direct Access to our company network. It was working fine with no problems until this new update was pushed to some of our users. Searched around but it seems no one else has posted about this issue yet, so not sure if it has to do with our GPO settings or the update itself.

I’m here to help you with your problem. I found a thread where other users have reported this issue also. Sorry for the inconvenience of having to suggest the re-route, but Technet has a lot of experts there that know the ins and outs of enterprise issues; especially domain configurations for clients, Windows 10 deployment and migration. When it comes back up again, Server Manager will have an attention flag to show you that something needs post-installation configuration- in this case, completion of DirectAccess setup. The wizard will scan for any required prerequisites and display prompts accordingly.
